Didn't Jetblue have this deal too where nonrevs had to cross seatbelts and clean the cabin after flights under penalty of getting written up and losing their non rev benefits if they didn't?
I believe that was one of the first things to go away when they went union.

Yeah, they need to hire more cleaners then expect us to cross seatbelts and pick up trash..if I wanted to pick up trash and cross seatbelts I wouldve gone to a 135 airline

I was wondering the same. I have a CJO but they told me it would definitely be in the northeast, but I was wondering how long I would have to commute for? Does anyone have an estimate?

PVD and BDL are junior.
Unfortunately, with the general industry slowdown, movement is slow. You're looking at 6-18 months on reserve, even in the junior bases. TPA, CHS, MCO, etc... are senior and likely will be until Summer of 2025 when a possible Vegas base opens (this is not confirmed - pure speculation). There are still a few dozen Ejet pilots who are holding spots in many senior bases, causing the company to not allow more pilots into those bases as it would cause a huge imbalance once they transition to the 220 next year. On top of that, many FOs will be upgrading.
Life as a DEC - ESPECIALLY a commuting DEC - is very tough at Breeze. Best of luck.

Any idea about schedules on reserve? What would a normal DEC schedule on reserve look like? Days blocked together? Enough days off in between to be home?

August is the first bid in breeze history that the PBS bid preference will allow to waive minimum of 3 days off in between rsv periods. So in theory youd be able to block together 6 day blocks of rsv and get a chunk of days off together. Who knows how well it will work though because they adjust schedules and block days they need coverage on so your preferences might get tweeked. Also your seniority also plays a big part on whats left. If youre a dec just move to base if you plan on staying here. Youll be in pvd or bdl for a while. There will be a lot of upgrades in those bases.
